Skin Care
I don't know about you, but I was raised as a Tomboy. I didn't even know what makeup
was until my friends started using it on me to try and make me look cool. The unfortunate
part about that was that no one taught me how to take care of my skin. As I look back , I
think of all the germs and dirt that were being regularly applied to my face, coupled with
the overactive hormones and oil glands and wonder how I came out of that without a
horribly disfigured face.
In my adult years, I at least had learned how to cleanse my face. I learned that it was
important not to touch my face, but I was still pretty ignorant about product ingredients,
and problems associated with them. I knew that dietary changes were always a
consideration for nice looking skin, because to look good on the outside, you have to look
good on the inside. This is one case where you can judge a book by it's cover.
The more I studied the more I learned. And I recognized the Skins huge role in our bodies
- Yes, it is the largest organ in the body. But it is more than that - it is our protection from
the outside world. It is how we keep intruders out of our bodies. If you think about it - The
skin is like a security guard for the rest of our internal organs.
The skin is also the most important detoxification organ that we have. The lungs do a lot
to expel carbon dioxide. The Kidneys filter and flush out liquid waste and crystalline waste
products that can be carried in fluid. The Colon expels solid waste. The skin is the organ
that expels sweat. What happens if the Liver and Gall Bladder start to fail? They are huge
filters of the fats and sugars in our bodies - and we all know how much fat and sugar is in
the traditional American diet. The skin becomes yellow. Why is that? The skin is next in
line to filter and expel those fats and sugars. I have seen Hospice patients with complete
liver failure whose skin oozed yellow. It was their bodies' last ditch effort to rid themselves
of those toxins.
So, if you thought caring for your skin was not important - think again.

Not only that - Our faces are our billboard to the world. As much as I hate to admit it,
People do judge by appearance. So, for that reason, I want to share with you what I have
found.

Now I had been working on my skin that for over two years. I had tried the whole Aveda
line. I used Usana, and I used the Dermalogica line. The Tahitian Noni skin care line was
the easiest to use and the most effective.
The Aveda line actually made my face look older. Usana was wonderful - but it is one size
fits all skin care - and I had some issues that just weren't being addressed with that line.
Not only that, the masque that I had fallen in love with was discontinued.
The Tahitian Noni Line is actually a really great line. They have specialty products as well
as normal to dry and normal to oily lines.
Try the
Tahitian Noni Skin Care line.   You won't be sorry.

           Cosmetics and Skin Care

You might think that cosmetics and skin care go hand in hand. But it really depends on
what is in your cosmetics. It is terribly important to check your labels before putting things
on your skin. Make certain that there are no mineral oils, alcohols, parabens, and other
such things in the products that you use on your face. They are all aging, drying, and just
not healthy for the skin. So, that being said, are there any cosmetics that I can wear that
will benefit my skin care routine?
Well, for a long time, the answer would have been no. But there has been a growing push
in today's marketplace for natural products - including cosmetics. There are some great
products out there, just be aware of the labels.
Mineral Cosmetics have proven to be the best natural makeups out there. They use colors
occurring naturally in our soils and make them usable on the skin. They provide natural
Sun Protection, and remineralize the skin. Thereby supporting the skin care routine that
you are trying to use to improve your skin.  Your skin actually grows healthier from their
use. But you still have to be cautious about what is in them. Many contain fillers and clays
that really have no benefit to the skin and can sometimes harm your skin.
For me, not only was I concerned with the ingredients, but also with the cost. I can't justify
spending $100 on makeup just for foundation colors when I have six mouths to feed at
home. Then I was introduced to an incredible mineral makeup line, with a huge selection
of colors,  superior customer service,  fantastic quality, and extremely affordable.
Not only that  , you can easily have your own online mineral makeup parties and great
perks as a customer or as a rep.
