The hazards of caffeine usage
1. Caffeine containing hot beverages (as well as decaffeinated coffee and tea
) are diuretics which require the user to drink 2 glasses of water for every cup
they drink to balance the dehydration that takes place.
2. Caffeine has also been shown to decrease the heart’s functionality and in
some cases cause heart problems.
3. Caffeine actually robs your body of it’s natural energy stores, so as you
continue drinking coffee to increase your energy and mental clarity in the
morning, it is actually taking away from your body’s ability to recover when
drained. The so-called second wind is your personal energy storage Caffeine
and other uppers deplete that. So that, in time, you are no longer able to get
energy from those items.
In order to increase those natural energy stores, you have to “feed” them
properly. B vitamins, and amino acids are great for that.
